Obama introduces Shillary to a fistful of logic

Barack Obama, today, in response to Hillary Clinton's attack on his experience as well as her attempts to shoehorn herself into the ticket with him.....

You can’t say that he’s not ready on day one, unless he’s willing to be your vice president and then he’s ready on day one.

I want everybody to be absolutely clear — I’m not running for vice president, I’m running for president of the United States of America.

and this...

So I don’t want anybody here thinking that somehow, “Maybe I can get both.” Don’t think that way. You have to make a choice in this election. Are you gonna go along with the past, or are you gonna go towards the future? Are you gonna do the same old thing, or are you gonna try something new?

I love the way that Hillary has shown the true face of feminiss polidicks by trying to constantly put Obama in the position of being "her boy", i.e. white feminSS sure do yak alot about how they are so much the same as the downtrod' black man, but they only like 'him' if they can pigeon hole and cuckold him into being their 'new bitch.'

I don't see all that. I don't think there is racism or sexism driving her actions---she is simply doing whatever it takes to win and abandoning decency in the process. IMO, her actions would have been similarly disloyal to the party and the cause regardless of who her opponent was.

He's all over this "strategy" all right. Mo'bama was a bit slow responding though. the team has to be able to grasp what the other side is up to right away and get on it.

of course, it isn't like they are going to be up against the SmartestFuckingPoliticalMind in modern times against McCain. still, the RightWingExpress will have some game. Step it up, 'bamoids, step it up...

This was a particularly tough one, DM, as Obama had to go up against a serious contender from his own party (one who has commanded a tremendous following). So he couldn't be hasty. Also the only true firm response would also, at some level, involve essentially telling all the Hillary voters that they're not gonna see her as veep if he wins---which he did, but it was probably well worth the weekend's brainstorming to agree on the best strategy for that and forward.
